Five Bard Band

A one-page (front and back) ttrpg game for Unknown Dungeon's Jam including a separate double-sided character sheet.

• Slice-of-life touring comedies such as Spinal Tap and Metalocolypse
• Five-Man-Band trope wielders like Teen Titans and Steven Universe
• Music-as-a-Weapon ala Scott Pilgrim, Sonic Undergound, Hi-Fi Rush
• Sitch-of-the-week shows like Josie & the Pussycats and Scooby Doo
• Bardic escapades in general

Players have a very open description-based magic system for small-scale use, but must pool their resources to play as a band for more impressive magical feats. Stronger magic requires more Inspiration, which the Band will have to Take Risks, Avoid Temptations, and Share Moments to tap into.

The Band also starts each session with Rifts between the Bandmates - domestic squabbles, guilty secrets, misunderstandings - which cause figurative and literal disharmony. Rifts can be poked at freely for even more Inspiration, but drain the bands energy when they take to the stage.
